Flexible Learning Spaces
Our well-equipped, spacious classrooms are optimized for flexibility and the use of digital resources. Our specialist art, music rooms and our design, robotics and science labs feature a wide range of equipment and resources that support learning in these areas.

Libraries
Each of our four divisions has an age-appropriate library with print and digital resources that support literacy and learning. They also include communal spaces, quiet study areas, conference rooms, small group rooms where students can practice for presentations and a maker space in the elementary school library.

Japan Center
The Japan Center aims to provide authentic Japanese cultural experiences for the ÖйúÈý¼¶Æ¬ community and allow students to build a more meaningful connection with Japan. Its tatami room is used for tea ceremony and other cultural experiences while other activities extend into the classroom and other spaces. The Japan Center also regularly hosts speakers from the wider community to work with students and develops strategic partnerships with local institutions such as Aoyama Gakuin Elementary School, Nezu Art Museum and the Yomiuri Symphony Orchestra.
Outdoor Learning
Whether it is launching rockets on the main field, digging sweet potatoes in the elementary school garden or simply reading Hamlet in the courtyard our extensive campus provides many opportunities to learn outdoors. With direct access to neighboring Nogawa Park, students have an even wider environment to study—particularly handy when your’re in second grade and investigating the local insect population.
Multi-Purpose Room
From elementary school gatherings and art exhibitions to guest speakers and parent workshops our Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) is a truly flexible space. Retractable seating allows it to quickly adapt to our changing needs.
